And So It Begins…

I passed my capstone project (which is the equivalent of comps for my school) on Saturday, so now that I’m an actual candidate, it’s time to start documenting this journey! I’ve had my dissertation chair in place since July, and one of my choices enthusiastically agreed to join the committee today, so I’m still waiting on one more to respond before I fill out the official paperwork.

In the meantime, my next post will review some of the most important terms you’ll come across in this project. Although I’ll be doing my best to strip out the academic jargon, sometimes it’s unavoidable. Hopefully this will help as I plunge into the work full speed ahead now that the capstone is done. Look for the proposal and section on SOMA sometime in June!
